Terms and Conditions of Sale
These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the contractual relationship between Solvateq and its clients. Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1. Purpose of the Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to all services provided by Solvateq, including:
Mechanical Design: creation of detailed 3D models, digital simulations, finite element analysis, and manufacturing-ready technical drawings.
Production: manufacturing of parts using processes such as 3D printing, machining, laser cutting, bar turning, and sheet metal work, from single units to series production.
These services are available to both private and professional clients, with comprehensive support from the initial design phase through to final delivery.
2. Orders and Quotations
Quotations provided by Solvateq are free of charge and non-binding.
To confirm an order, the client must provide a deposit, the amount of which is specified in the quotation.
Receipt of the deposit validates the order and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Solvateq reserves the right to adjust prices based on project specifications and materials used.
Any order modification after deposit payment may result in price and lead time adjustments.
3. Pricing and Payment Terms
Service prices are stated in the quotations and are valid for 30 days from the issue date.
Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, a deposit of 50% is required upon ordering.
The balance must be paid upon delivery of the products or services, unless otherwise agreed.
Payments may be made by bank transfer, credit card, QR-bill, or any other method mutually agreed between Solvateq and the client.
In case of late payment, interest at 5% per annum will be applied unless otherwise specified. Reminder fees may also be charged.
Delivered products remain the property of Solvateq until full payment has been received
4. Delivery Times
Delivery times are indicative unless Solvateq expressly commits to a fixed date, and they start from the validation of the order upon receipt of the deposit.
Solvateq strives to meet the agreed deadlines, but delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, such as supplier delays or complex technical specifications.
In the event of a significant delay, Solvateq will inform the client
5. Warranty and Liability
Products supplied by Solvateq are guaranteed to meet the agreed specifications and applicable regulations, including CE certification for machines.
Solvateq’s liability is limited to product conformity, valid for 12 months from delivery unless otherwise stated. This warranty covers only manufacturing defects.
Under no circumstances shall Solvateq be held liable for indirect damages, loss of business, or any other prejudice resulting from the use of the supplied products or services.
Any claim must be submitted in writing within 10 days of delivery.
Liability is excluded in cases of improper use, normal wear and tear, or modification by a third party.
6. Maintenance and Support
Solvateq does not provide a standard maintenance contract with its products.
However, technical support may be offered upon request, and related services will be invoiced separately.
Clients are encouraged to contact Solvateq for any assistance needed after delivery
7. Confidentiality
Solvateq places great importance on protecting client confidentiality.
All information exchanged between Solvateq and the client is considered strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without the client’s prior consent, unless required by law.
Solvateq implements appropriate measures to ensure data security.
In accordance with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (nLPD), clients have the right to access, rectify, or delete their personal data by contacting info@solvateq.ch.
8. Intellectual Property
All plans, technical drawings, 3D models, and other design documents created as part of a project remain the exclusive property of Solvateq.
Their reproduction, modification, or use without Solvateq’s express permission is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
A transfer of rights may be contractually agreed in writing under a specific agreement.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Canton of Vaud.
